Legal Director – Leasing at Michael Page – Dubai

As the Legal Director for the Assets Division, you will be responsible for managing all existing assets with the aim of growing the organisation’s recurring revenue. You will negotiate, draft and review residential and retail leases, manage leasing disputes and develop organisational structures to streamline the leasing process.

Description
Provide leadership and expertise on matters relating to real estate and retail leasing.Manage a large volume of transactions within the existing assets.Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies to streamline legal operations.Drive growth in the assets business through bespoke and innovative leasing strategies.Lead on all rental disputes and collections.Manage the legal team in the Assets Business and mentor other Counsels in the legal function.

Profile
At least 15 years of experience in a leading retail, real estate or large holding group in the region.Must be bilingual with excellent drafting skills in Arabic and English.Extensive commercial experience within the leasing and rentals space.Experience with retail and rental disputes.
