Legal Counsel at Michael Page – Abu Dhabi

As the Mid-Level Legal Counsel in the central legal function, your role would be to lead on all commercial contracts for the organisation, with regards to suppliers, vendors, partners and consumers. You will also manage corporate agreements, and play the role of a generalist in-house lawyer.

Description
Negotiate, draft and review all commercial contracts.Provide legal and strategic advice on new proposals and bespoke contracts, especially in Arabic, for internal commercial stakeholders.Collaborate effectively with external counsel in matters of litigation both in the UAE and across the region.Liaise with government entities and other external regulators.Advise internal stakeholders on compliance and regulatory matters.Be approachable and collaborative when working with other business functions to provide legal advice.

Profile
At least 8 years of experience, with some experience in an in-house role.Must have experience in the telecom or technology industry.Impeccable Arabic drafting skills, demonstrable by previous body of work.Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
