Job Description
We are seeking to appoint English teachers for the New 2022/23 academic year due to growth and increased student numbers.
Applicants should have a Bachelor or Master Degree in literature, Education, TESOL , ESOL, Applied Linguistics , or related fields with a teaching qualification/License like PGCE/TESOL/CELTA/TEFL/DELTA and minimum of 3 years of post-qualification teaching experience with Vocational or Further Education Institutions. Excellent Oral and written English is required at the level of Academic IELTS band 8 standard and demonstrated ability to enhance learning through effective integration of ICT into professional practice.
Required Competency
- Experience in second language acquisition
- Strategies to support English as a second language to students
- Qualified as IELTS Examiners ( preferred)
- Experience with Advanced Placement courses and exams
- Experience with TOEFL
- Experience in teaching Technical English
- Familiarity with Web 2.0 Tools
- Online teaching and learning skills using different applications
Skills
Teaching and leadership skills
Student-centered and project based learning
Sufficient knowledge and skills to meet students’ needs who struggle with English.
Exposure to international and national exams (such as EmSat, IELTS, TOEFL, ALCPT)
Skills in teaching, writing teaching materials, assessment and curriculum development
Familiarity with Web 2.0 Tools
IC3 Qualification
Ability to use digital skills and teach online
